Something to do during these rainy days?

 Why not plan a treasure hunt (caccia al tesoro) using some wild animals?
Ask your children to close their eyes while you are hiding some toy animals. Say the name of an animal out loud (in Italian) ...and encourage your little ones to look for them.
To make it more interesting, you can build a telescope or a pair of binoculars made out of toilet paper rolls, like we did at Piccole Pesti.
When the children get close to an animal, you can shout "Fuoco" (Fire) and when they are moving away from it, you can say "Acqua" (water).

During yesterday's session we listened to this song. An idea: talk to your children about the different ways sea creatures move. Listen to the song and every time you stop the music, you can en...courage them to become different sea animals. If they are not Italian mother-tongue, you can use props (such as flashcards or soft toys) every time you name an animal.

Dear parents

I hope you are all well.
